Janick Morin, FNLP
Functional Nutrition & Lifestyle Practitioner in Restorative Health

With over 35 years of experience as a dental hygienist, I've developed a deep understanding of the connection between oral health and overall well-being, because true health truly begins in the mouth.

My passion for functional nutrition deepened through my own health journey, where I faced autoimmune challenges that led me to explore a more comprehensive, root-cause approach to healing. I realized that many people struggle to find the guidance they need to feel truly heard, and to address the root of their concerns, not just their symptoms.

Today, I combine over three decades of clinical experience with a whole-body, functional approach, supporting clients in Hearst, Ontario and virtually across Canada, to help you move beyond symptom management and toward lasting health.

About functional testing

Functional tests go beyond standard bloodwork to uncover the root causes of your symptoms. Here's what each test looks at, and why it matters.

🔬
GI-MAP Stool Analysis
$327.18 USD

This is a simple at-home stool test that gives us a detailed picture of what's happening inside your gut. It looks at the balance of bacteria, signs of inflammation, the presence of parasites or yeast, and how well you are digesting and absorbing nutrients. It is one of the most comprehensive gut health tests available and helps us build a much more targeted and effective plan for you.

✦ Done at home, kit mailed directly to you anywhere in Canada. Tests are ordered through Evexia Diagnostics, a trusted functional medicine laboratory based in the United States. Shipping of approximately $45 is billed individually per test kit and is an additional cost. The final price will vary depending on the USD/CAD exchange rate at the time of order. I guide you through every step and review all results with you in detail.
🧬
Food Sensitivity Testing (IgG)
$115 – $415 USD

Unlike a standard allergy test, this looks at delayed immune reactions to foods, reactions that can happen hours or even days after eating and are often the hidden driver behind bloating, fatigue, brain fog, skin issues, and joint pain. It is a simple blood spot test done at home. Three panel options are available depending on how many foods you wish to test: FIT 22 ($115 USD, 22 foods), FIT 132 ($329 USD, 132 foods), and FIT 176 ($415 USD, 176 foods). The larger the panel, the more comprehensive the picture of your food sensitivities.
